Line 19, step by step
It leaves Marrakech-Menara airport, serves Guéliz, the Marrakech station and Bab Doukkala, then stops near Jemaa el-Fna square. The ride takes about 25 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. For a late arrival or lots of luggage, a taxi is simpler: all the details are in Marrakech-Menara airport to the centre.
City lines
They mainly link the medina with Guéliz or the station, for a few dirhams. Numbers and routes are changing: ask the driver before boarding and follow your position on a map. Buses are crowded at rush hour and in summer: watch your pockets.
Bus, taxi or horse carriage?
The bus is cheapest, the metered petit taxi the most practical in the medina. To choose by route, read petit taxi, bus or carriage in Marrakech and getting around Marrakech.
Which option to choose?
- Tight budget, daytime arrival: bus 19 from the airport.
- Late arrival, luggage: official taxi or private transfer.
- Excursion outside the city: transfer or organised tour.
Fares and timetables: confirm on board and on the Supratours and Alsa websites.
