Marrakech Plaza (Guéliz): opening hours, shops and how to get there
Marrakech Plaza is a commercial complex in the centre of Guéliz, inaugurated on 29 December 2006 with an announced investment of 500 million dirhams. It covers about 27,000 m² with open-air galleries, cafés and restaurants, offices and a public car park of nearly 250 spaces on two levels. At opening it had 33 shops, including European brands such as Zara, Aldo and Charles & Keith. The list may have changed since: check before you come.
Highlights

An open-air centre in the new town
The complex combines open galleries, shops, terraces and touches of Moroccan craftsmanship. It is a good spot for a coffee break between purchases, in a district calmer than the medina.

For other new-town addresses, see Carré Eden and Guéliz; for crafts, the souks. See also our shopping and design ideas.
