1-54 Marrakech: the contemporary African art fair

Updated on October 1, 2026

1-54 is an international fair dedicated to contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora, founded in London and also held in New York. Its Moroccan edition, launched in February 2018, takes place at La Mamounia hotel, on the edge of the medina. The latest edition was held from 5 to 8 February 2026. The next one is announced for 18 to 21 March 2027. For a few days, galleries, collectors and the city's institutions make Marrakech a meeting point for African art.
