What half a day allows
Be generous with time: a "3-hour" activity on a listing often includes the transfer, and the treatment or class itself is shorter. In the medina distances are short but the alleys eat time, and taxis do not reach your riad door. Keep 30 minutes of margin before and after, especially if you have a departure time afterwards. For a full day on foot, follow Marrakech in one day instead.
A guided walking tour: the simplest option
This tour links the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the souks and the medina. The guide keeps you from getting lost and from fake guides. Entry fees are usually paid separately: 100 MAD per monument for a foreign adult, with these sites open daily from 9am to 5pm; read the "included" section of the listing. Without a guide: the Ben Youssef Madrasa (50 MAD, 9am to 7pm) and the Jardin Secret (100 MAD, closing at 6pm in October) take under two hours in total, with tickets bought on the spot. The Jardin Majorelle is the exception: online tickets only (170 MAD for the garden alone), for a set time slot.

The class with a local chef lasts 4 hours, with the meal, hotel pick-up and recipes sent afterwards. It shows 5.0 from 1,869 reviews and free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Zellige or pottery workshop
A zellige and pottery package lasts about 2 h 30: you paint a plate and assemble a small mosaic, with free cancellation on the listing we saw. Your piece has to be fired, so it is often sent or handed over later: do not count on leaving with it the same day. Swimming pool: when it is hot

Booking: what to check
- Cancellation: favour free cancellation up to 24 hours before, so you can change plans if the weather or tiredness demands it.
- Meeting point: confirm where you are picked up, especially if your riad cannot be reached by car.
