How to choose
- Only one free day: the Ourika Valley (7 hours) or the Agafay evening; both fit in one day.
- A full day: Ouzoud, farther (11 to 12 hours) but very spectacular; see Ouzoud, Ourika or Essaouira to decide.
- Early morning: hot-air balloon, with pickup before sunrise.
- A tight budget: quad in the Palmeraie, camel ride, street food; see Marrakech travel budget.

What the number of reviews says, and does not say
A large number of reviews shows that an activity is booked in volume and that the operator works, not that it suits you: the group outings to Agafay or Ouzoud are efficient, but in a group and with little free time. If you want fewer people, look for "small group" or "private" on the listing, and read private or group. Also read recent reviews on what matters to you (return time, meal quality, quad speed).
